Spain to set aside grants for new DTT migration

The Spanish government is planning to fund the country's forthcoming DTT migration with grants to affected individuals and TV operators, reports El Economista, citing State Secretary for Digital Advancement, Francisco Polo. During an informal meeting held at the 32nd telecommunications and digital economy meeting at Menendez Pelayo university in Santander, Polo said unspecified grants will be included in the next state budget for viewers needing to adjust their antennas and having to acquire new TV equipment.
