Spain's Eurona closes EUR 57 mln capital hike

Spanish telecommunications services provider Eurona has secured a EUR 57 million capital increase from investors including Realta (Magnetar group), Premaat and Houlihan Lockey with a view to executing its 2020-2024 Business Plan in a viable manner. The company added that it has now voluntarily filed for bankruptcy proceedings against its former holding company (Eurona Wireless) which was barely active following the transfer of its healthy assets to Global Satellite Technologies (GST) at the end of 2018. GST's capital is now 80 percent owned by US fund Magnetar, 13 percent by Premaat and 7
