Spain's Masmovil acquires MVNO Hits Mobile - report

Tuesday 23 July 2019 | 14:30 CET | News
Masmovil's latest acquisition comes 3 years after it bought the operators Yoigo and Pepephone, followed by smaller MVNOs including Llamaya and most recently Lebara. Hits Mobile will add another 100,000 or so mobile customers to the growing customer base of the Masmovil group, which passed 8 million mobile and fixed line customers in the first quarter of 2019, including 7 million mobile and 1 million fixed line subscribers. The company increased its total base by over 330,000 year on year thanks in part to its multi-brand strategy.
