Spain's Masmovil signs up to UN Global Compact

Spanish telecommunications group Masmovil, the country's fourth largest network operator, has decided to sign up to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability and to continue growing in a responsible manner. The UNGC is a corporate sustainability initiative of over 13,500 companies from more than 165 countries, with Masmovil pledging to support and promote the Compact's Ten Principles on human rights, labour rights, the environment and the fight against corruption.
