Spain's Yoigo to use Orange network starting 2017 - report

Monday 5 September 2016 | 11:46 CET | News
Spanish mobile operator Yoigo has reached an agreement to use Orange's network in areas not covered by its own network, reports Expansion. The news comes after Yoigo decided not to renew the three-year network-sharing agreement signed with Telefonica in July 2013, which is due to expire on 31 December. Spanish operator MasMovil, Yoigo's new owner, also operates on the Orange network and recently announced a joint investment with Orange in a new FTTH network in Spain that would give each company access to 1 million premises.
