Spanish clubs threaten strike over TV rights deal delay

Many of the major clubs in La Liga, Spain's top-tier league, are prepared to strike if the government continues to delay the issuing of a decree approving a collective TV rights content deal, according to Espanyol FC president Joan Collet. "We are prepared to stop the League if the decree doesn't come out in one, two or three weeks," said Collet in a Spanish radio interview.
