Spanish connected TV market growing fast - IAB

The Spanish connected TV market is gathering pace, with smart TVs having become the device of choice to watch connected TV, according to a study conducted by trade body IAB Spain together with Viko and Smartclip. The report found that 54 percent of connected users now access services via Smart TVs, around 20 per cent more than last year, while the proportion of users who no longer watch conventional TV has doubled to 24 percent. However, the report also indicated that around half of Spain's 4.5 million smart TV owners don't connect them due to technical problems or slow internet speeds. Users
