Spanish consumer body denounces Movistar Fusion price rise

Spanish consumer protection authority FACUA has announced the filing of a complaint before Madrid's mercantile courts denouncing Telefonica's "illegal" increase of the price of its Movistar Fusion offers. The authority said it was acting in the general interests of around 4 million affected users by criticising the "massive fraud" of Telefonica's price hikes. According to FACUA, the operator is increasing the monthly tariffs of its Movistar Fusion convergent packages by around EUR 5 per month in exchange for improved services even though it promised to maintain the same prices "for good" in
