Spanish DTT reset "badly planned and executed" - Uteca

Spanish free to air TV association Uteca has described the country's second major DTT migration, which was completed on 31 March, as a "badly planned and executed" process. The government said 98 percent of buildings had successfully retuned their antennas before the switch-off, but Uteca replied that the 10,000 buildings had yet to complete the process, potentially affecting some 50,000 to 100,000 viewers. The association also warned that DTT signals could be affected by interference from 4G services with the release to telecoms operators of frequencies in the 800 MHz band. The government
