Spanish Opensport OTT service still negotiating TV rights with Telefonica

Spanish independent OTT platform Opensport is still negotiating with Telefonica over rights to air Champions League and La Liga football games even though it claimed to have struck a deal with the rights holder last week, reports El Pais. Initial subscribers to Opensport were angered by its failure to broadcast last weekend's 'Partidazo' (match of the day) between Girona and Real Madrid after having advertised its transmission.
