Spanish operators accused of subscriber number breaches

Spanish communications regulator CNMC has launched a total of 5 proceedings leading to a possible fine against the operators Telefonica, Vodafone, Vodafone Ono, Orange and Xfera for allegedly breaching their obligation to provide subscriber numbers for the watchdog's subscriber data management system (SGDA). The database can be used by emergency services and telephone directories and all operators are required to provide updated subscriber data, including fixed, mobile and special rate numbers.
