Spanish police crack down on illegal football broadcasts in bars

The Spanish police have raided over 2,000 bars and other public establishments suspected of illegally showing live football without a valid subscription. The judicial police, with the support of the computer crime unit of the attorney general's office, confiscated over 800 illegal decoders in three days of raids earlier in December, following complaints from the Spanish football league LaLiga.
