Spanish watchdog starts investigation against Google

The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) has launched investigation against Google for detecting and saving data about private WLANs with the Google Streetview cars, Cinco Dias reports. Google recently admitted to collecting data from personal Wi-Fi networks when compiling information for its Street View service. The AEPD believes the facts admitted by the company itself could constitute a violation of the Data Protection Organic Law. Therefore, in addition to initiating preliminary proceedings against Google, the AEPD has requested the search giant to block the traffic data associated with
