Spark, Vodafone to confirm submarine cable JV - report

Spark and Vodafone are expected to confirm their investment in a new submarine cable linking New Zealand and Australia on 18 December. The companies will then hold a media conference addressing New Zealand's "connected future", Stuff reports. However, Vodafone spokesman Brad Pogson has not confirmed the event will include the cable announcement.
