Spectrum key to real digital single market - ETNO

Industry lobby group ETNO (European Telecom Network Operators) has welcomed the Digital Single Market Strategy paper unveiled by the European Commission, emphasising that swift and urgent action is needed ahead of the broader review of telecoms rules scheduled for 2016. According to ETNO, the main drivers of such action should be further harmonisation as well as the removal of barriers to investing in network deployment.  The group also identified spectrum harmonisation as the gateway to a real digital single market.
