Spending on information, cyber security to jump over 12% this year to USD 150 billion - Gartner

Spending on information security and risk management technology and services is expected to accelerate to over USD 150 billion this year, up 12.4 percent from the year before, according to the latest figures from Gartner. Spend lifted a smaller 6.4 percent in 2020 but took off amid the virus pandemic and consequent demand for remote worker technologies and cloud security.
