Sprint appoints SoftBank's Arora to board

Sprint has appointed Nikesh Arora as a member of its board of directors, bringing the total number of board members to nine. Arora previously served as CEO of SoftBank Internet and Media, and vice chairman of SoftBank Corp. since October 2014. Arora served as the chief business officer and senior vice-president of Google Inc. until 1 August this year. Since 2004, he held several executive positions at Google and served as Senior Advisor of Value Creation at Silver Lake Partners since 2007. He also served as the chief marketing officer and a member of the management board of T-Mobile Europe.
