Sprint offers new customers half price on previous contract
US mobile operator Sprint has launched an aggressive campaign. It is offering customers who switch from another carrier a 50 percent discount on the price they used to pay for the same service. Sprint gives a few examples. For instance, T-Mobile offers 10 GB for USD 80 a month. Customers who switch to Sprint can get unlimited talk, text and the same amount of data for USD 40 a month. In the same way, a family paying USD 100 for 15 GB at AT&T can get the same data allocation for USD 50 if they switch to Sprint.

Such customers will also save 50 percent on the access fee. In addition, Sprint is offering to pay up to USD 650 in fees to anyone switching from another operator. To reward existing customers for their loyalty, Sprint is offering a free tablet with one year of free service with a two-year contract, a USD 360 value, while supplies last.

Sprint said the new offer marks the launch of its LTE Plus network in 77 markets. Making use of technologies such as carrier aggregation and antenna beamforming, LTE Plus offers peak speeds of over 100 Mbps on capable devices, as well as improved capacity and coverage, Sprint said.
