Sprint recruits banks to finance T-Mobile USA buy - report

Sprint is closer to financing its proposed acquisition of T-Mobil USA, with up to eight banks ready to provide funds, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The debt package of over USD 40 billion includes a bridge loan of around USD 20 billion from Japan's Softbank to Sprint, as well as USD 20 billion refinancing of T-Mobile's existing debt, the sources said. JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Citigroup have said they will participate.
