Sprint results improve further in Q3, sales grow 5%

Sprint reported a second quarter of consecutive annual revenue growth and continued improvement in margins and customer numbers in its fiscal third quarter to December. Revenues rose 5 percent to USD 8.5 billion, and adjusted EBITDA was up 29 percent to USD 2.5 billion. Sprint said the profit improvement by over USD 1.6 billion in the year to date, putting it on track for a full-year reduction of USD 2 billion. The net loss narrowed to USD 479 million from USD 836 million a year ago, while operating cash flow fell to USD 650 million from USD 806 million. Sprint reported postpaid phone
