Sprint sues Dish, Clearwire over takeover bid

Sprint has sued Dish Network and Clearwire, claiming that if completed, Dish's takeover of Clearwire would violate Deleware law, rights Sprint bargained for, and clauses in Clearwire's charter and equity holders' agreement that support the rights of strategic investors. Sprint contends that the billions of dollars invested by Sprint and strategic investors establishes their governance rights. Furthermore, the takeover offer requires at least 75 percent of outstanding voting in favour and for Comcast to give its authorisation, neighter of which has been secured. Clearwire shareholders are due
