Sprint to let clients pay for Movistar prepay plans in LatAm

Sprint and Movistar (Telefonica) have partnered to launch a new initiative that will allow customers to help pay for mobile plans for relatives and friends in Mexico and El Salvador. The new Plan Conectados, which is built into the Sprint World Top-Up app, makes it possible for Sprint customers to provide mobile access to their loved ones for USD 25 per month. Customers who sign up for the plan will be billed each month and the money will be applied to their family's or friend's Movistar prepaid account in Mexico and El Salvador, said Sprint.
