Sprint, Windstream sue FCC for wanting to deregulate BDS

Sprint and Windstream have filed a lawsuit against the FCC and the measures it has proposed to deregulate part of the business data services (BDS) market, FierceTelecom reported. The companies said deregulation could enable incumbent telcos to unfairly raise rates. In a filing to the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, the two companies said the FCC's "Report and Order is arbitrary, capricious, and an abuse of discretion."
