ST-Ericsson sees continued business with Nokia

ST-Ericsson expects Nokia's adoption of the Windows Mobile smartphone platform to offer an opportunity for additional business with the handset maker. In response to Nokia's announcement, ST-Ericsson issued a statement from CEO Gilles Delfassy, who said "ST-Ericsson's plans for our new products and platforms remain on track, both with Nokia as well as with other top-tier customers, with whom we have obtained designs-wins". He added that "the business opportunities for ST-Ericsson are in-line with our expectations". ST-Ericsson will continue to be a strategic partner for Nokia moving
