Standard Bank offers Samsung Ativ in South Africa

Standard Bank customers are being offered Samsung's new Ativ tablets running the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system before the devices are available in the mainstream market. The tablets can be purchased on the Standard Bank website by the bank's cheque or credit card holders. They will sell for ZAR 6,695, below the usual retail price of ZAR 7,999, and will come with a free cover. There are a limited number available. Standard Bank is also offering customers an ADSL service at a 15 percent discount through Internet Solutions.
