Standard Bank South Africa launches DigiMe to improve smartphone banking security

Standard Bank South Africa has launched DigiMe to improve security on its mobile banking app. It said there is a need for strong authentication using a combination of two or more factors to verify the identity of a natural person. DigiMe uses  biometric and facial recognition software, combined with multi-factor authentication.
