Friday 18 October 2019 | 08:45 CET | News
StarHub has announced it is studying Infocomm Media Development Authority's (IMDA) Call for Proposal (CFP) or the rollout of 5G mobile networks by 2020. StarHub plans to submit a proposal for a 5G network design. The operator also reports that a portion of its network is currently 5G-ready to facilitate trials in the lead up to commercialisation. The company is broadcasting 'live' 5G signals from its headquarters and has identified areas at which to expand its initial 5G coverage. It also operates a 5G cellular-on-wheels vehicle.
