Stirling moves forward with Gigabit City project

Stirling City Council in Scotland has approved plans to press ahead with a project to improve high-speed broadband in the city The Gigabit City programme will see the council select a company to build a new high-speed fibre network, with the local authority becoming a prime customer for the project by connecting council premises to the network.
