Stoke starts installation of city-wide, full-fibre network

Stoke-on-Trent City Council in the UK and partner company LilaConnect, a VX Fiber group company, have launched the roll-out of a new citywide broadband network in the city. The full-fibre network will use the city's existing private optical network ducting and extend this to create a 60-mile network, with completion planned by spring 2021.
