The stop5G.be collective is taking BIPT to court, saying the Belgian regulator did not sufficiently respect procedure when it attributed provisional licenses to Cegeka, Entropia, Orange, Proximus and Telenet for the right to use the 3600-3800 MHz frequency band, opening the door to the deployment of 5G in Belgium. Stop5G has filed appeals against these licensing decisions in a suit that will go before the Market Court, part of the Brussels Court of Appeal.
