Straight Path files patent lawsuit against Vonage

Straight Path IP Group (SPIPG), a subsidiary of Straight Path Communications, has filed a patent infringement action seeking damages and injunctive relief from Vonage. In an action filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, SPIPG claims that Vonage is infringing its patents by selling and utilizing certain VoIP products and/or services. Earlier this year, Straight Path IP Group filed enforcement actions against other telecommunications service providers, including Bandwidth, Telesphere Networks, and Vocalocity.
