Study calls for action to connect 'final few' in UK rural areas

The UK Government should prioritise the delivery of superfast broadband to the 'final few' in rural communities or risk leaving them behind, according to a new study from researchers at Aberdeen University. The study says that the move to 'digital by default', with many public services going online only, risks excluding homes and businesses without adequate connections from accessing these services in the future.
