Study disputes viability of third FTTP operator in UK market

A new study on the UK broadband infrastructure market, commissioned by BT, has questioned the viability of a third major wholesale operator competing against the existing incumbents, BT and Virgin Media. Produced by Analysys Mason, the study has been submitted to regulator Ofcom, in a bid to influence the outcome of its ongoing Strategic Review of Digital Communications.
