Sunrise former CEO becomes strategic advisor at US private equity firm Warburg Pincus

Olaf Swantee, the former CEO of Swiss operator Sunrise, has been appointed as strategic advisor at the US private equity firm Warburg Pincus, NZZ am Sonntag reports. The former US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner serves as President of Warburg Pincus. Swantee confirmed that he has accepted the job at Warburg Pincus after consulting with the board of directors at Sunrise. His contract with Sunrise lasts until the end of July, but he agreed from the beginning that he would support his successor Andre Krause until the AGM.
