Swedish digital publishing spending reaches 25% of monthly average outlay in Q4

Digital newspaper subscriptions are on the rise, but most text spending still goes on the printed press, according to Sweden consultancy Mediavision. Attracting the digital reader is more important than ever in the daily news business, both in terms of subscriptions and advertising revenues. However, in the fourth quarter of 2019, only 25 percent of average monthly household spending of SEK 140 on text media went on digital material.
