Swedish regulator PTS checks operators' understanding of Border Gateway Protocol security risks

Swedish communications regulator PTS said it is beginning scrutiny of telecoms operators' security work to tackle known vulnerabilities of Border Gateway Protocol, which regulates internet traffic dissemination among networks. The aim is to find out whether some of the larger internet operators know enough about the known weak points of BGP and are taking appropriate security measures.
