Swiss Environment Office gives go ahead for 5G expansion with adaptive antenna guidelines

The Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) has published new guidelines to clarify implementation of the regulation on protection against non-ionising radiation (NISV). The FOEN concluded that 5G network expansion with adaptive antennas is possible in compliance with the current limits for mobile systems. The limit values, which are a central element to protect public health, remain untouched under the new guidelines.
