Swiss firms bring out new smartwatch models

Most Swiss watch companies continue to neglect the topic of smartwatches, reported NZZ. Among the few exceptions are TAG Heuer and slightly lesser-known Geneva watch brand Frederique Constant, both of whom are pushing their connected watch projects with elation and apparent success, the newspaper said. Frederique Constant is the first to combine a mechanical gear with a sleep and fitness tracker, TAG Heuer is also launching new smartwatch models, while the Swatch Group continues to focus on a "Swiss made" operating system, it added.
