Swiss government sends Telecommunications Act reform to parliament

At its session on 06 September, the Swiss Federal Council adopted the draft concerning the partial reform of the Telecommunications Act (TCA). The draft legislation will now be dealt with by parliament. The revised legislation should reflect the changes brought by the latest development, such as broadband networks with more data at faster speeds and internet services, such as video-telephony, messengers and chats, increasingly replacing traditional telecommunications services.
