Swiss regulator sees delay in new 5G radiation standards

The Swiss federal government has postponed the publication of the technical guidelines that would allow the expansion of 5G networks, Neue Zurcher Zeitung reports. The government is still working to define the guidelines on radio-frequency emissions for cantons and telecommunication providers to implement. The Federal Office for the Environment (Bafu) informed the cantons at the end of January about the delay until further notice.
