Swiss users get iPhone cheaper when bought separately or with pre-payment service

Monday 17 September 2018 | 10:23 CET | News
Swiss users are better off taking up a new iPhone model either with a pre-paid tariff or a separate monthly plan, rather than together with a subscription, according to an analysis by Swiss comparison portal Dschungelkommpass.ch. The portal has analysed the total price for both the device and service over a 24-month contract for three user profiles, in terms of telephony and data volumes for the six cheapest operators and the four biggest operators. The selected model for the analysis was the iPhone XS 256 GB and the applicable price was Apple's official price of CHF 1,389.
