T-Mobile Austria grows Q1 revenues over 40 percent after UPC takeover

T-Mobile Austria, rebranded in May as Magenta Telekom, recorded EUR 306 million revenues in Q1, which is up 40.4 percent year-on-year. In 2018, T-Mobile completed the acquisition of UPC Austria. In the course of the acquisition of UPC Austria, Deutsche Telekom disclosed financials under the Europe operating segment as of 31 July 2018. Figures for the previous periods were not adjusted. Compared with Q4 2018, the revenues of T-Mobile Austria were down by 8.3 percent from EUR 334 million.
