T-Mobile Czech Republic returns to FY service revenue growth

Thursday 2 March 2017 | 15:23 CET | News
T-Mobile Czech Republic reported 0.5-percent year-on-year growth in its mobile customer base in 2016 to 6.049 million. In the fourth quarter, net additions improved to 46,000, including 40,000 contract customers. The postpaid base rose by 2.5 percent over the year to 3.687 million. T-Mobile said mobile services revenue returned to growth after years of decline, rising 0.9 percent to CZK 18.3 billion in 2016. This was driven by growing usage, especially data services, and ARPU increased 0.4 percent to CZK 254, helped by the higher share of postpaid users.
