T-Mobile hikes 10GB price after forgetting to include VAT

T-Mobile Netherlands has asked customers to pay more for an existing contract, saying it inadvertently excluded VAT from the price. However, the regulator ACM has questioned whether this practice is legal. Customers who signed a contract for a 10 GB data bundle in the period 16 January to 10 March have been asked to take a more expensive plan or a plan with less data, according to an email sent to the customers seen by Tweakers. T-Mobile may be in violation of regulations requiring it to disclose price changes at least 30 days in advance and give customers the option to cancel the contract
