T-Mobile NL, Nedap, Dura Vermeer to test smart parking sensors via NB-IoT

Friday 24 November 2017 | 12:18 CET | News
T-Mobile Netherlands, Nedap, a maker of business management systems, and construction company Dura Vermeer have started a trial with smart parking sensors. The consortium hopes in the future to provide cities and other hotspots with smart parking systems on a large scale. They first plan to start with a three month trial, with ten parking spaces equipped with smart sensors at De Gruyter Fabriek in 's Hertogenbosch. The sensors will measure which places are free and which are occupied. The data will be sent via T-Mobile's NarrowBand IoT network.
