T-Mobile NL pledges to uphold promises, 'invest and disrupt' strategy

T-Mobile Netherlands has secured approval for its takeover of Tele2 Netherlands. The merger will be completed as of 02 January, with Deutsche Telekom holding 75 percent and Tele2 25 percent of the merged company. T-Mobile expects the merger to result in scale and synergy benefits, while the Commission found, after an in-depth investigation, that the merger would not result in significant price increases for the Dutch market.
