T-Mobile NL says its 4G network will be suitable for iPhones

T-Mobile Netherlands said that its 4G network will be operational by the end of 2013 for all customers, including iPhone users. In a blog, T-Mobile NL said it consciously chose licenses for spectrum in the 1800 MHz frequency band because most smartphones –current and future- are suitable for 1800. T-Mobile NL will start rolling out 4G antennas in the Amsterdam region in August, followed by other major cities, with nationwide coverage expected to end 2014. For the moment, 4G services will only be available via new subscriptions set to launch later this year. KPN will begin providing 4G
