T-Mobile NL steps up measures against Sim swap fraud

T-Mobile Netherlands announced that it's implemented additional measures to protect against Sim swap fraud. In such cases, criminals transfer a mobile number to a new Sim card in order to steal a person's identity and gain access to their accounts. The new measures follow an arrest by police and search of a shop in Vaals that sold T-Mobile subscriptions.
