T-Mobile US expects higher net adds as Q1 revenue lifts 13%

T-Mobile US said first quarter revenues lifted 13.1 percent year-over-year to USD 7.8 billion, with service revenues rising 9 percent to USD 5.8 billion. Adjusted EBITDA increased 27.6 percent to USD 1.4 billion, and the adjusted EBITDA margin advanced to 27.6 percent from 20 percent the prior year. Capex went lower to USD 982 million from 1.3 billion in the fourth quarter. Going forward, T-Mobile US expects to drive further customer momentum while delivering strong growth in adjusted EBITDA and has therefore raised its guidance for full year branded postpaid net customer additions to 3.0-3.5
