T-Mobile US has officially launched a broadband push-to-talk (PTT) service with Eschat, available for business and government customers. The soft launch actually took place six months ago but Eschat is now available for anyone on the T-Mobile US network, for USD 5 per month. The service comes with secure push-to-talk, live location tracking and mapping, and secure group multimedia messaging. The service supports Android and iOS smartphones, some 'basic' phones, and Windows PCs.
